My name is Gerasimos Korakianitis.
I live and work in Salamina a small island near the capital of Greece Athens .
Although I always had dogs in my house only in 1995 I first saw a Rottweiler and it was a ‘ love at first sight’.
In 1997 I purchase my first Rottweiler.
A female of medium morphological quality but excellent character.
Because of her I get to know better the breed and love them even more.
After years with the breed and  2 more rottweilers in my life , my wife and I decide to deal with breeding.
So in 2005 we register the kennel name HÖLZERNE MAUER (wooden walls in German) inspired from the explanation Themistocles gave to the oracle of Delphi that ‘the wooden walls shall save Greece’ from the invasion of the Persian army in 480 B.C. and the sea battle that took place in Salamina.
Our aim is to breed excellent samples both external and internal (character) free of  hereditary deseases
For this reason we were very selective with the dogs that we import to be the foundation of our kennel and they come from the very best blood lines .
We participate in dog shows and we train our dogs for their working titles alone.
